My favorite submissive violining kinkette sends this to me via IM: Rands In Repose: The Nerd Handbook. The cave thing is a bit heavy on the otaku-OCD nerd angle, but otherwise, totally fucking spot on in every way possible. Whoa.

There were a few parts that were a little iffy, but as a whole the article is pretty dead-on.
Nerds are studious; thus, they are uncool, at least when young. They don't have to be computer experts.
well yeah, I took it in a general sense -- the computer stuff translates just as easily to someone hunched over a workbench soldering or working on a model train or whatever just as easily, no?
